Orla Kiely Bayan Izlemek OK2006

I was so excited to see that the Orla Kiely brand has released their first Orla Kiely Time range. It was a very difficult task for me to choose which style I want to purchase from the range, as they all look so pretty! As a big fan of Orla Kiely’s patterns/designs, I wanted to choose a watch which has the most of her designs on it, so I chose this “OK2006” model. The leather strap is embossed with Orla Kiely’s popular daisy stem pattern, it is so beautiful and the strap is of great quality. The back of the strap is also embossed with Orla Kiely’s floral pattern, so when I am wearing it I could see a small part of the back pattern, love it! I have chosen the olive colour strap as it looks very special and complements a lot of my clothes. The watch dial is printed with the iconic stem pattern, it also contains a sub-dial (with the second hand in it) shaped in a cute yellow colour flower. The diameter of this watch is 3.5cm, it is like me wearing a men’s size watch, I think it is great size for me, not too big for my small wrist, just right. The box that the watch came in with is gorgeous (it is printed with Orla Kiely’s floral pattern) and of good quality. The cardboard holder of the box is also full of floral pattern, it is so pretty. I do not have any bad comments to write about this watch, as it is an absolutely beautiful watch. The only thing that I would like to add is that I think it would be a bonus if they could put a little embossed pattern (eg. a orla kiely’s flower or stem pattern) on the crown of the watch (ie. on the little turner where you adjust the time on the watch), then it would be so cute and sweet. Originally I was only going to own one Orla Kiely watch. As this watch is so beautiful and I just love it so much, I have now placed an order for a second one (a different one) from the Orla Kiely Time range with ChrisElli.com, I look forward to receiving my second Orla Kiely watch soon!

I love all things Orla Kiely and this watch did not disappoint! I chose it for the embossed leather band which makes it so unique. The olive colour is more of a brown tinged olive, not super green; I think it will match a lot of things. The picture may show the gold parts as maybe having a hint of rose gold but I find it is more of a true light gold. I also chose it for the face having markers for the numbers making it easier to tell time! The flower second hand is just a totally adorable design feature. This watch is a good combination of dressy and casual. The box it comes in is also a delight, it is long and thin with Orla patterns all around! Could be used to store other jewelry too, definitely a keeper. This presentation would make it a beautiful gift too (and that is why I 'gifted' it to myself for my 40th birthday!!)
